  1. That's not Indian Paintbrush. Real paintbrush grows in more arid areas and higher elevation that you will find in Shoreline, in the mountains and eastern Washington. It's much shorter than this and is red.

  3. This plant is a kniphofia, aka red hot poker, poker plant, torch lily; an Indian paintbrush is a castilleja.

  5. Those are not Indian Paintbrush but rather a plant called Kniphofia.
