Saturday is Free Comic Book Day at the Shoreline Library and the newly opened Arcane Comics. Both venues will have special guests as well as free comics.

10am, Free Comic Book Day
Comic shops across the country are giving away comics for Free Comic Book Day and we are joining the fun! Come by and pick out some free comic books to keep. Come early since comics are only available while supplies last. Plus, meet and have your picture taken with Stormtroopers and other characters from the Star Wars universe from Seattle’s Garrison Titan as well as heroes and villains from Comic Book Characters for a Cause.

11am-1pm, Drawing Comic Book Heroes and Aliens
Love Sci-fi and want to learn how to create concept drawings for novels or comics? Using basic shapes, this class will create their own plausible spaceships. No drawing experience required! Please call to register for the class.
Noon-2pm, Game On! Special Edition
All ages welcome. Enjoy a little healthy competition by playing Wii, Wii U and Xbox 360 games in this special Free Comic Book Day edition of Game On! Plus, have some snacks!
