We believe in diversity and cultural education; we put together cultural events to educate the less privileged, that is, people who have not had the chance to see other parts of the world or other traditions and cultures.
In view of that, we are dedicated to follow our passion by educating the communities and colleges through traditional drumming, traditional dances, poetry, live band music by Empty Vessels Crew, step dance and many more.
Saturday, July 9, 7-10pm at the Shorewood High School Theatre, 17300 Fremont Ave N, Shoreline 98133. Tickets $20, students $10, at the door.
CULTURAL HERITAGE 2016 will present a vibrant and unique celebration featuring unparalleled music and dance performance. At this event, we will educate people on an everyday life of an average African through Dance-Drama, on top of that, a fashion show by Adeshie Collection and Ayo Designs will slay the curiosity in our eyes with African designs fashion Show. Famous American artist, (the late Prince's backup singer), Portland based Saeeda Wright will do one of her singles on that night as well.
Northwest audiences are incredibly fortunate for the opportunity to witness such an event with so much education incorporated! JHP Cultural and Diversity Legacy and Adeshie Collection has the ability to celebrate past traditions while expanding to embrace new ideas and foreign influences through traditional music and Dance! JHP is a 501-C3 Non-Profit organization, for sponsorships and/or contributions, please email.
