The Shorewood softball team shut out Stanwood 5-0 Monday at Meridian Park Field.

Winning pitcher Kendall Adams struck out 11 Stanwood batters. Teammate Alison Feise hit 3 for 4 with a double and a home run. Bonnie Paulson was 1 for 3 with a double.

The Thunderbirds improved their Wesco 3A record to 3-7 (3-8 overall).
