Shoreline conducting polling related to renewal of 2010 Maintenance and Operations levy

A Shoreline poll is underway now. Calls started on Monday, April 4 and will be completed by Sunday, April 17.

EMC is calling a random sample of Shoreline residents to ask their views on the levy and other issues related to the City’s financial sustainability.

The City engaged EMC Research to conduct polling related to renewal of the City’s six-year maintenance and operations levy for basic public safety, parks, recreation, and community services. EMC is a research firm and is not a marketing or advertising firm.

The City has conducted similar polling in the past. It did so in 2010 when the Council was considering placing the initial levy on the ballot and again in 2012 when Council was considering placing acquisition of the SPU water system on the ballot.
