Public invited to reception for LFP Councilmember Hilda Thompson Thursday

Members of the Lake Forest Park community are invited to join the City Council for a reception honoring outgoing Councilmember Hilda Thompson on Thursday, April 14, 2016, from 7:00 to 7:20pm, in the City Council Chambers, 17425 Ballinger Way NE, Lake Forest Park.

A proclamation will be presented at 7:00pm, with the reception to follow. Light refreshments will be served.

Hilda Thompson was elected in fall of 2013 for a term to run January 2014 - December 2017.

She serves on the following committees:
  • Member, Council Communications Committee
  • Council Liaison, Youth Council
  • Member, Sound Cities Association Children and Youth Advisory Board
  • Member, Sound Cities Association Regional Law, Safety and Justice Committee
The City will be soliciting applications for a councilmember to fill out her term.
