Prom Shop event

Donate your formal wear the the PTA Prom Shop

The WORKS is a committee of the Shoreline PTA Council, responsible for helping to stage the annual Back to School event, for providing clothing and school supplies all year for students in need.

Once a year they hold The Prom Shop for students at Shorecrest and Shorewood High School. Staged before the spring proms, the Shop provides new and gently used formal and semi-formal wear, shoes, jewelry, and accessories at no cost for guys and girls.

This year's event will be held Saturday, May 14 from 12-4pm in the gym at North City, 816 NE 190th St, Shoreline 98155. It will be a festive event, with raffle prizes

Students unable to be there on the 14th can shop every Wednesday after May 14 from 6:30 - 9pm at The Works.

If you have formal ware to donate, they are most in need of dresses and shoes in larger sizes and men’s clothing (typical teenage boy sizes) and shoes. Men's clothing is always appreciated.

Donations of all items grateful accepted any time on Wednesdays 6:30 to 8pm or on the day of the event, Saturday May 14.

The WORKS is located at North City Elementary, 810 NE 190th St, Shoreline 98155.

  1. I have never heard of this wonderful program before. What an amazing opportunity for lower income kids to have a fabulous prom.
