The Wetland
The color of the soul is twilight
in a wetland thousands of years old
where natural springs percolate
the nectar of life,
and the flour of glacial meltwater
sifts into the marsh bisque.
It has been a long journey
from the headwaters
in the Milky Way.

Beautiful Shoreline
Council wants big apartments
Nature evicted
The minions at City Hall want this park and every square centimeter in the surrounding residential parcels covered in impervious surface with mega-density on top.
The Planning Commission failed in their obligation to listen to the majority of voices of those at the public hearing. But hey, why not listen to the one guy who works for Forterra and some sleezy real estate investor who has been knocking on doors, frightening people, and *waiting* for people outside their homes to arrive home.
