Aurora Theatre Company auditions for summer outdoor performance

Last year's production of Fiddler on the Roof
was attended by 3200 people

The Aurora Theatre Company has set audition dates for their summer production of Lionel Bart's Oliver!

The production will be directed by Scott Francis, with vocal direction by Dori Baunsgard, and musical direction by Michelle Choate.

To apply, send resume, photo and preferred audition time to Scott Francis.

Prepare a song from a musical (not “OLIVER!”) no longer than 2 minutes in length. Bring sheet music, accompanist will be provided.

21 actors will be cast: Fagin, Nancy, Artful Dodger, Oliver, Bill Sykes and Mr. Brownlow and 15 actors who will play multiple roles. An additional 10-12 young boys will be cast only as orphans.

Auditions:

• Friday May 6, 2016 - 6:00pm-10:00pm = Adults only!
• Saturday May 7, 2016 - 10:00am-1:00pm = Children (10-17 years) only!
• Saturday May 7, 2016 - 1:00pm-4:00pm = Adults only!

Callbacks:
Monday May 9, 2016 = 7:00pm-10:00pm

Rehearsals begin June 6, 2016. Rehearsals are Monday-Thursday evenings and Saturday days and take place at Ronald United Methodist Church, 17839 Aurora Ave N, Shoreline 98133.

Performances are August 11-12-13, 19-20 and 25-26-27 at 8:00pm and take place in an outdoor amphitheatre setting at Shoreline City Hall, 17500 Midvale Ave N, Shoreline 98133.

All performers are paid a stipend. Performances are free of charge to attendees. Last year’s “Fiddler on the Roof” was attended by over 3200 people!
