Norm Evans, featured speaker at Men's Dinner |
The highlight of the dinner will be "A Conversation with NORM EVANS"
Not only was Norm a right tackle with Miami Dolphins for ten years, he started in 135 of 138 games, earning invitations to two Pro Bowls and played in three Super Bowls.
When the Seattle Seahawks joined the NFL in 1976, Evans joined the Hawks, starting in 25 of 36 games, again as right tackle. He finished his pro football career four years later at the Hawks.
Norm, along with his wife, Bobbe, were co-founders and leaders of Professional Athletes Outreach. For over 40 years they counseled, encouraged, and mentored hundreds of young, up-and-coming pro athletes and many veterans, sharing faith and helping athletes to gain a better foothold on their professional and personal careers, including financial management, family issues and more.
Norm will share the amazing story of his career, his faith and about his recent struggles of adversity.
The dinner is open to the public including men of all ages, especially youth.
Tickets are $12.00 per person ($ 6.00 for students) available at church office during the week and at the Men's Breakfast on April 9.
Contact the church office at 206-363-1466 or contact Bob Junell for tickets and information. Doors open at 6:00pm - dinner served at 6:30pm.
