Traffic alerts for the Shoreline Center next week

The Shoreline Conference Center, 18560 1st Ave NE, has scheduled a number of events for next week which will create additional traffic and parking around the Center as attendees come and go.

These are the biggest ones during daytime hours:

Tuesday, March 29:  UW Continuing Nursing Education Conference

Wednesday, March 30:  Nursing conference continues. In addition, there will be workshops for WSDOT and SBE.

Thursday, March 31:  Shoreline Foundation Breakfast and Shoreline Foundation Lunch.

Friday, April 1:  Cascadia Workshops

Remember that the speed limit on 1st NE by the Center is 25mph. It was set at that rate at the request of neighbors who were concerned about the safety of children going to the Shoreline Pool and playing fields. Activities at the Shoreline Center also create pedestrian traffic that drivers should be aware of.
