Panel discussion with District Special Education Team on Tuesday

Back by popular demand, members of the Shoreline School District administration team will provide updates and field questions in a panel discussion to be held on Tuesday, March 15 at the Shoreline Center.
Panelists are Hillery Clark, director of preschool and health services; Scott Irwin, director of secondary student services; and Amy Vujovich, director of student services.
They will share how the District is supporting special needs students.
Topics will include the new inclusive preschool, district-wide Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS), autism training for all teachers, co-teaching at secondary level, and an update on the restraint and seclusion laws.
There will be an opportunity for questions (chapter members will be given priority).
Meet and greet/mingle time starts at 6:30pm, with the meeting under way at 7pm and adjourning by 8:45pm.
Note the room change: We’ll be in the Mount Rainier Room this month at the Shoreline Center, 18560 1st Ave NE, Shoreline 98155. North end of the building, north parking lot.
