Bennett Olsson (Shorewood ca. 1999) is currently stationed with the U.S. Coast Guard at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as a DC2 (Damage Control Second Class). He will return to his home and family in Arlington, WA after his current two-year deployment is over this June.
It’s simple! Just print out THIS PAGE (or email the link to someone else who might be interested), take a picture of yourself or other alumni holding it up at an interesting location, project or event and email it.
Be sure to include your name, information about the picture, which high school you attended and graduation year.
You might just find your picture published in a future issue of The Flagship newsletter and/or posted on their social media pages.
Here are a few examples, but the possibilities are endless:
- Architect in front of a building/home they helped design
- Chef in the kitchen of their restaurant
- Visiting the Egyptian Pyramids
- Medical professional in front of their hospital/office
- Software developer in front of their company/workstation
- Visiting the Great Wall of China
- Educator in front of their school or classroom
- Engineer in front of one of their projects
- Visiting the Statue of Liberty
You get the idea! Don’t be shy, send them your photos and let them know what you’re up to.
