The new Trader Joe's store, which opens Friday morning at 8am, features festive décor, mixing traditional Trader Joe’s cedar-covered walls and Hawaiian-inspired elements with a local flare, including art that celebrates the neighborhood.

Throughout the grocery store, there are several colorful hand-painted murals that pay homage to Kayu Kayu Ac Park, Richmond Beach, Ronald Bog, Kruckeberg Botanic Garden and more.

The Shoreline store is located at 1201 N 175th St, inside the Shoreline Marketplace across from City Hall.

ReplyDelete@ anon 2.53pm... too funny! I'm surprised the City's not doling out hundreds of thousands of dollars to "consultants" for a traffic study for the TJ's impacts!
ReplyDeleteSorry but the prices this store charges for stuff does not fit the low income housing surrounding it. Winco would of been a much better and needed retailer.
ReplyDeleteDid you know that living within a one mile radius of a Traders Joe store increases property values? So in that way, lower income families as mentioned due get a tangible benefit.
