I can't wait for them to rip down the junky homes around 145th for the light rail station. We so need this refresh on a blighted area.
Those homes are our neighborhood. There are no "junky" homes here. Sorry if our lives, families, and tight-knit community are in the way of your new mixed use box with a Walgreens and yoga studio. If you don't like our home, stay away from them. We pay taxes.
Seriously! Who are these trolls who think thousands of residents and homeowners are dispensible? You are talking about real people, who work, pay taxes and vote and have just a much right to live here as you do, Anan 1/8, 2:48.
The City has made a serious mistake in thinking we are throw-away people. Folks who live in the Rezone areas have every right to be outraged. We are following the process and pushing back at every opportunity.
The streets of Intention are paved with gold.
Affordable housing communties are not. If looks are more appealing to you and lessen your understanding of others feel free to leave. The city doesn't tax your departure.
Gee! Where I have heard the comment about "junky homes" before. 1) a former planning commissioner, or 2) a citizen's committee member
Are the developers giving you ladies some kick backs for your cheerleading of displacement, demolition, and destruction?
