The injuries to this poor woman make one feel ill. Observations: one sees Dodge Chargers being driven like assault vehicles on suburban AND city streets. The other day, a Charger with out-of-state plates nearly hit pedestrians in two different cross-walks, SLU, before my eyes. And then there are the Chargers that tail-gate and rev through various North End neighborhoods. I guess they are living out the high-octane TV commercials...this driver apparently has too little octane to take responsibility for the harm he/she has caused.
Sorry for the accident, but really poor decision to stop in the street and take care of ice that should have been removed before entering traffic...
