CORRECTION: Ellis not incumbent at Northshore Fire

Northshore Fire commission candidate Don Ellis was not the incumbent as I recently said he is.

Ellis, a former commissioner, ran against Mathew Martin in the Nov. 4 general election for an open seat being vacated by Ron Gehrke.

Ellis leads Martin 74 percent to 26 percent in returns reported Tuesday afternoon.

Commissioner David Maehren ran unopposed.
