Washington Wild earns Second Place in Pacific Coast Female Rep Hockey Classic

The WWFHA Washington Wild 19U Rep Tier 2 team from Shoreline earned second place last weekend in the prestigious Pacific Coast Female Rep Hockey Classic Tournament, hosted by the Richmond Ravens in Richmond, B.C.
The Washington Wild met some of the top teams in Western Canada and beat the Kamloops Timberwolves 5-3, Richmond Ravens 6-4, Victoria Royals 6-4 and lost to the Jr. Blazers 3-0. In the Championship game the Washington Wild lost to the Jr. Blazers 4-2. The Wild scored over 20 goals over the weekend, in a tournament they previously never tallied a victory.
The WWFHA Washington Wild play in the Pacific Coast Amature Hockey Association (PCAHA) Tier 1 female league in preparation to go to USA Hockey Districts and Nationals. For more information, to join one of the teams, or to learn to skate and play, visit Washington Wild.
