U.S. Immigration in Historical Perspective

There will be a free presentation on Tuesday, October 20 from 10:30 to 11:30pm by Amy Kinsel, Dean of Social Science at Shoreline Community College on U.S. Immigration Policy in a Historical Perspective.

She will discuss how in the past, the policy has been racially and politically determined, the key points when immigration policy changed, and how those political decision about when and how to structure U.S. immigration policy have created the mix of Americans we see today.
