CANCELLED: Speakers on state initiatives Sunday at Richmond Beach Congregational

UPDATE: sponsors have cancelled the forum on initiatives.

Speakers for and against initiatives 1366 and 1401 will appear at a forum Sunday at 11:30am at the Richmond Beach Congregational Church.

The church is at the corner of NW Richmond Beach Road and 15th Ave NW (1512 195th St NW, Shoreline).

The forum is in the Lena Voreis Suite just off the upper parking lot.

Initiative 1366 would reduce the state sales tax unless the legislature proposes a constitutional amendment to require a two-thirds legislative vote to raise taxes.

Initiative 1401 would ban the sale of products from the parts of endangered species.

Both initiatives are on the November 3 general-election ballot.
