Friday’s Roundtable: Tips on Reinventing Yourself, with Career Coach and Plus 50 Instructor, Bud Wurtz.
As the years go by, our interests might change. Whether or not intentional, sometimes we might even burn some bridges. These are just a couple of reasons we might arrive to the dawning of self-reinvention.
Reinvention can be starting from scratch, or transferring talents and skills from one chapter of your life to the next. Also, the new world of work, jobs and careers has shifted for sure and will continue to at warped speed! It’s our current reality and one that must be taken very seriously. Both career changers and career educators face this new challenge. New rules, new tools, new approaches are all the order of today.
What’s your story? What are you looking to reach for in 2016? (It’s coming up fast!) Come on by and join the conversation. Perfect coffee weather is predicted for Friday, and it’s always plentiful and free, along with other snacks, all compliments of Central Market.
REMINDER: Paul Valenti will visit us on 10/23 – I like to think of him as our own Roundtable “TED Talk” star. He has a great story about how he came from zero to the Seattle Mayor’s Office. Paul is also a one-person Linkedin info army, and will book you for a one-on-one skills assessment. Save a seat ahead by just emailing Ron Carnell
Friday, October 9, 1:00-2:30pm, Shoreline Community College, Room 5116, Building 5000 (ground floor), SCC Campus Map and Parking info.
