Guardian One to visit block parties for National Night Out

Shoreline Guardian One flight path for NNO

National Night Out Against Crime is tonight, Tuesday, August 4th.

Expect to see residential street closures, with picnic tables in the middle of the street, and groups of people gathering.

Police in both Shoreline and Lake Forest Park have vowed to try their best to visit every registered party and Fire won't be too far behind them.

King County Guardian One helicopter is scheduled to fly over every block party in Shoreline.

National Night Out is an opportunity for neighbors to meet each other. A street where people know each other is a place where it's easy to know when something is out of the normal. For example, if you know that your neighbor is not moving, you will be more likely to ask police to check when you see people emptying the contents of their house.

For tonight, it's about potato salad and a pleasant evening.
