4-Corners Kiosk to be dedicated on Wednesday

4-Corners leaders, city officials and Recology Cleanscapes representatives will come together to dedicate a new information kiosk in Hillwood Park, N 193th and 3rd Ave NW, on Wednesday, July 8 at 11am.
4-Corners neighborhoods, Hillwood, Richmond Beach, Richmond Highlands, and Innis Arden, were awarded a Waste Reduction grant from Recology Cleanscapes to provide a neighborhood improvement.
An art installation was placed in Saltwater Park as well as this new bulletin board in HIllwood Park.
Hillwood Community Network chair Ann Erickson said, "This information board has been a boon to our neighborhood. Every time I go to the park I see neighbors reading news. We are grateful to Recology Cleanscapes for this asset."
Neighbors from all the 4-Corners are invited to attend.

There is no 4-Corners. The City's plot to consolidate 4 diverse neighborhoods continues. The City says they have nothing to do with it, yet look for yourself. A city Park with a 4-Corners kiosk. Says who?
This kiosk is not new. It was installed nearly a year ago. What is new is the thought a kiosk needs a dedication (probably with optics) to further the brand of the City's solid waste contractor, as well as the 4-Corners brand. What is also new is the City is about to send out an RFP for a new solid waste contract.
So Hillwood has no bond with Echo Lake, eh? Richmond Highlands has nothing in common with Meridian Park or Highland Terrace? If you have an economic development scheme up your sleeve for this area, Shoreline, put it in your Comprehensive Plan and hold a public hearing, why don't you? Better yet, leave these neighborhoods alone.
Wow. That's exactly what I thought when I read this article. Come on! It's a Kiosk!
