One Shorecrest softball player, one from Shorewood named to All-Wesco 3A/2A South First Team

One softball player each from Shorecrest and Shorewood have won places on the all-Wesco-3A/2A-South first team.

Division coaches selected Shorecrest senior Jeralyn Pasoquen as an outfielder and Shorewood junior Ebony Harrison as a utility player on the 14-member first team.

Shorewood junior Kendall Adams was designated hitter on the 11-member second team.

Honorable mention went to Hannah Jorgensen, Olivia Nolan and Ivy Upington, all of Shorecrest.

Shorewood placed sixth in the seven-team Wesco 3A/2A South and 10th among all 13 Wesco 3A/2A teams with a 5-13 record (7-13 overall). Shorecrest was seventh in the south and 13th overall with a 2-16 Wesco record (2-18 overall).

Shorewood needed to place at least fourth in the South division to qualify for the Northwest District 3A tournament. Shorecrest needed to place at least sixth to make the 2A tournament.

The Shorewood JV team placed fifth in the South and eighth overall with a 6-7 (8-9) record. Shorecrest didn't field a junior varsity team.
