With last week's sunny weather, residents have been flocking to the beach at Saltwater Park, grateful that the pedestrian bridge is open.

Now comes word from the City that a sewage line break has closed the lower restrooms at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park for repairs.
The break is immediately below the concrete floors, which will have to be broken up and removed.
Crews will then need to dig about four feet down to replace the broken pipe. A new floor will then be poured.
At this time, it is unclear what the time frame will be to conduct the repairs.
