The Lake Forest Park Police Department has recently received reports of subjects going up to homes and inquiring if a vehicle or trailer is for sale when there is no indication that the item is for sale.

The behavior of these subjects is suspicious, as they do not appear to have any other legitimate reason for being in the area.

The subjects have been observed lingering around a property before knocking on the door.

If you encounter this at your residence please take note of the subject's appearance, any associated vehicles with a plate, and call 911 to report the suspicious incident.

The sooner your report, the quicker officers can get into the area and attempt to locate the suspicious person.

This will get the message out to the bad guys that we are watching and that your neighborhood will not tolerate this behavior.
