Shorewood students take top honors in All Girls Film Challenge

Julia Kostelnik Juarez from Shorewood won first place at the All Girls Film Challenge for her documentary, “Women in TV News." 

"The panel of professional women from the film and television industry were all very impressed with Julia’s film," said Shorewood video teacher Marty Ballew. "It was such a great learning and networking experience for all the girls who participated."

Eva Wellington and Jean Schuler from Shorewood also took top honors at the festival for their short film “Braces."
