The Shorecrest and Shorewood boys' soccer teams both play in Northwest District tournament semifinal matches Tuesday.

Shorecrest plays at Archbishop Murphy in Mill Creek at 7pm Tuesday in a district 2A semifinal, and Shorewood meets Edmonds-Woodway at Edmonds Stadium at 5:30pm in a 3A semifinal.

In the 3A tournament, Shorewood takes an 11-4-2 season record into its meeting with Edmonds-Woodway (11-3-3). The winner advances to the district final Saturday, May 16, against the winner of the 7:30 p.m. Tuesday semifinal between Glacier Peak (13-3-1) and Meadowdale (11-2-4). The Tuesday losers both play in elimination games Thursday, with the winners of the Thursday matches advancing to a third-place match Saturday. The top three district 3A teams advance to state play.

In the district 2A tournament, Shorecrest, champion of the Wesco 3A/2A division, meets Cascade Conference champion Archbishop Murphy, while Sehome and Squalicum of the Northwest Conference meet in another semifinal, this one in Bellingham.

The top four district 2A teams qualify for the state 2A playoffs.
