These trillium are blooming in my yard right now. The white flowers will take on a pink cast as they start to fade. The green leaves stay nice until hot weather.
Native woodland garden plant. Easy plant to grow -- needs partial shade, compost and neglect. Fertilizers will kill this plant -- and probably so will pesticides.
I have two clumps in my yard since my first clump ended up under a growing cedar tree branch. They don't like to be moved. All I do is pull an occasional weed, and have wood chips on the path.
