Man dies in crosswalk at 170th and Aurora - witnesses sought

A man was found dying in the crosswalk in the northbound lanes of Aurora at 170th during the morning commute Tuesday. Police received the call around 7:30am, only after dozens of cars had driven by.

It is uncertain whether the man fell or was originally hit by a car, but he did have broken bones. He was identified only as a 54 year old male. The victim had significant injuries and was transported to Harborview where he died.

Police are seeking witnesses - call 911 if you have any information.
