County Radio levy continues to pass with more than 65 percent approval

The King County tax levy on the Tuesday special-election ballot continued to be easily passing in votes counted through Friday afternoon.

The property-tax levy would pay for replacement of the county's emergency public-safety radio network.

Votes counted through Friday continued to show the same 65.4 percent approval rate seen in the Thursday count. The rate topped Wednesday's 65.2 percent rate and Tuesday's 65.0 percent rate.

King County elections officials plan to update returns each weekday afternoon through final certification of results May12.
