Shorewood Tennis vs Glacier Peak 4-14-15

Jelena Bojic, Shorewood senior co-captain, led the T-Birds to a close victory over previously undefeated Glacier Peak. Her match, at number two singles, lasted three hours in long 20 to 30 shot rallys for almost every point.

Bojic’s two set win broke a 3-3 tie to make it a 4-3 T-Bird win.

Shorewood won three of four singles matches and one of three doubles matches at number two doubles. Also winning in singles were Emily Wight, Amy Buswell and in doubles Jenny Ahn and Marin Counter. Shorewood moves into first place with a 4-0 league record and 7-1 overall.

The Thunderbirds host, at Shorewood, Meadowdale Wednesday April 15th at 3:30pm.
