Not Unsung: 125 Years of Women’s Work in Shoreline

Saturday, April 25 from 1-2pm, Shoreline Library large meeting room, 345 NE 175th, Shoreline 98155

Commemorate the 125th anniversary of Richmond Beach and the 20th anniversary of the City of Shoreline, acknowledging the significant efforts of women in the community.

With words and pictures, Shoreline Historical Museum Director Vicki Stiles will tell the stories of women who contributed to the development, notoriety, and history of northwest King County over the last 125 years.

In the English language, the word “unsung” refers to “not being recognized as important” - Ms. Stiles's presentation provides a “song” in remedy of that condition. Co-sponsored by the Shoreline Historical Museum.
