Northcrest Park in Shoreline

Arbor Day Observation and Volunteer Work Party

Join Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust, the Ridgecrest Neighborhood Association, City Councilmembers, and City staff in recognizing Arbor Day. Get your hands dirty and help us remove invasive plants from Northcrest Park on Saturday, April 4 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Removal of the invasive plants will enhance visibility and safety, and ensure the continued health of the park.

Ben Thompson from the Washington Department of Natural Resources will also be on hand to present our third Tree City USA Award.

If you would like to volunteer at the work party, register here to give Mountains to Sound Greenway staff an idea of the number of volunteers to expect for the event. Walk up volunteers are still welcome.

Wear sturdy shoes, bring gloves, and dress for the forecasted weather. Meet at the NE 165th Street entrance, which is at the southeast corner of the lower parking lot for the Tabernacle Baptist Church located at 16508 8th Avenue Northeast, Shoreline, WA 98155.

For more information, contact Park Project Coordinator Maureen Colaizzi 206-801-2603.
