POLICE ALERT: Male with rifle near 175th and Meridian

Shoreline Police have just issued an alert that an unknown race male, wearing a hoodie, is on foot, carrying a rifle, in the vicinity of 175th and Meridian.
Anyone observing this individual should call 911 immediately.

observed about 12 police vehicles in the surrounding area I live on meridian and and keeping my doors locked.. the cop of site said that it was a"nut with a gun"
What's the big deal! Washington is an "open carry" state, meaning you are free to carry your legally purchased gun out in the open...even if it's near a school. I, for one, would feel much safer if everyone carried a gun out in the open because if they were to encounter a "nut with a gun" they could protect the good people of Shoreline and shoot them on the spot! God bless America!
