New show at Gallery at Town Center

The Gallery at Town Center Presents:

Molly Hashimoto and Kimberlie V. Brayman

Lake Forest Park - The Gallery at Town Center is a non-profit gallery committed to supporting artists, arts education, and assessable arts for all. This month Molly Hashimoto and Kimberlie V. Brayman join the over 90 local artists whose work is in the gallery for a new show. See these works and the creations of all our artists during gallery hours: Tuesday - Saturday, Noon-5pm.

Molly Hashimoto

Seattle resident Molly Hashimoto’s paintings and illustrations have been published by Pomegranate Communications for many years. She also works as a printmaker and several of her prints are published by Pomegranate as cards. 

She teaches for the North Cascades Institute, the Yellowstone Association Institute, the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, and in Italy for Il Chiostro. In her teaching Molly seeks to foster a community which celebrates and works to preserve wildlife, urban parks and wilderness areas. She writes about art, nature and ideas in her blog Molly Hashimoto: Artist’s Journal.

Kimberlie V. Brayman

Kim Brayman is an artist and teacher with a degree in K-12 Art Education. She has been in several juried exhibitions in Seattle and surrounding areas and is a regular exhibitor in many Puget Sound venues. The city of Shoreline and the Swedish Cancer Center each has one of her paintings in their permanent collection. Her paintings have traveled to four states. 

Kim’s subjects are often botanical and avian. Texture, organic shapes and lines, and color are her delight. She is presently working in acrylic mixed media with particular emphasis on texture. Adults and children have been enjoying her student centered, creative teaching for 25 years. You can visit her website for information about her exhibits and classes and to view other art work.

The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to nurture all of the arts in the community through programs and events, arts education, advocacy, and support for artists and arts organizations. Proceeds from the Gallery at Town Center help fund these programs and events.
