Governor appoints Keith Grellner as State Board of Health chair

Governor Jay Inslee appointed Kitsap Public Health District’s Director of Environmental Health Keith Grellner as chair of the state Board of Health. Grellner will replace outgoing chair and former Jefferson County Commissioner John Austin, who is retiring. Grellner is currently a representative experienced in matters of health and sanitation on the board.

Before taking over as environmental health director at Kitsap Public Health, Grellner worked more than 25 years as an environmental health program manager at the agency.
