A moment of silence

Wednesday, December 10, 2014

By Meghan Peterka

Today, Wednesday, December 10, others will join an 11year old boy named Itzcuauhtli in silence. This silence will allow us to hear the voices of nature and the simple call to action. An action that could be as simple as deciding to walk or bike instead of drive, to buy one item at the store that is locally produced, or to write a letter to your representative to take action!

Itzcuaihtli is inviting us to join him in silence and to wear a green band around our wrist to show our support for change. Learn more here.

We are all leaders. It is time for us to take action. Please share this with others, especially the children in your life, since it is they who will most impacted by our choices. They should know that they to can take a stand and not wait for the adults in their lives to do so.
