Genealogy in the Computer Age
Monday, November 17, 2014, 7-8:30pm, Lake Forest Park Library meeting room

Searching for your ancestors used to mean keeping paper records, writing letters, and visiting courthouses. With the advent of widespread computer use, genealogical research has entered a new dimension. This session will teach you how to choose and use genealogy software, online family trees, genealogy databases and more.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Lake Forest Park Library.

Hello Friends of Lake Forest Park Library!

I wonder if anyone could tell me how find an obituary that was published in 2002? The person died in Fairfield, Ca and I am certain that just about all obituaries then were available on the internet - but it doesn´t come up when I search.

Would be very grateful for any ideas at all. (I´m an American living in Berlin, Germany who is trying to help a British colleague locate possible siblilngs. My email address is:
Thank you so much! Susan Catherine (Catherine is surname.)
