Local school changes their name

Northwest School for Hearing-Impaired Children (NWSFHIC) will now be called Northwest School for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children (NWSDHH).

While we have updated our name to reflect current terminology, our mission to provide on-grade level education to our region's deaf and hard-of-hearing children remains the same. We are preparing our students to become confident, articulate and academically competitive learners and community members."
