McAleer Creek and Lyon Creek (Ballinger Creek) Basin Plans Open House Wednesday

Are you interested in water quality, drainage issues on your street, or the stream habitat in McAleer and Lyon (Ballinger) Creek drainage basin? Come to the 2014 Basin Plans Open House to talk with City staff about the preliminary findings of stormwater issues in the McAleer and Lyon (Ballinger) Creek watershed and drainage basin.

The City’s Surface Water Utility is conducting a study of the McAleer and Lyon drainage basins to identify drainage, water quality, and stream habitat issues and potential management strategies to address the identified issues. In addition, the City will be assessing the condition of the subsurface stormwater conveyance system (storm pipe network) in each basin.
