From my front yard in Richmond Beach Monday evening.

After a very warm day in Shoreline, the sun slipped behind the Olympic Mountains. A storm was brewing, you could feel it in the air. Off in the distance but getting closer were flashes of lightning followed by quiet rumblings, the sound of God moving the furniture around in Heaven perhaps... a quick downpour and then off to the north it went... but all the while, it remained plenty warm enough to stay outside late into the night watching, listening, thinking...  Lois Jamieson
