Stuff the Bus Saturday at Fred Meyer to benefit the Back to School event

Join Shoreline Schools transportation employee Nancy Koski
and many others to "Stuff the Bus"
on Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Aurora Fred Meyer

Help the Shoreline School District Transportation Department to "Stuff the Bus" with needed school supplies, clothing and hygiene items for the Shoreline Back to School Consortium Event for families with low incomes and/ or circumstances that make it challenging to adequately prepare their children for school.

Transportation employees will park a Shoreline Schools bus in front of the Fred Meyer store at 185th and Aurora from 9am to 3pm on Saturday, August 16 to accept donations. Last year shoppers generously donated many items for the Back to School event, which will be held this year from 12:30 to 4pm Saturday, Aug. 23 at the North City Learning Center.

In 2013, more than 1,000 students received needed school supplies and clothing at the Back to School Consortium event. Deadline for registration is this Friday, Aug. 15. Visit btsconsortium.org for more information.
