The Board will conduct a special meeting on Wednesday, August 13 at 8:10 pm to meet with

- Approving the assumption of the District by the City of Shoreline in compliance with the October 22, 2002 Interlocal Operating Agreement; and
- Authorizing the Board President and/or special counsel to present verbal or written comments to the Boundary Review Boards of King and Snohomish Counties.

There is nothing in the 2002 Interlocal Agreement that says the current Ronald Board must approve the assumption. Policy, if it was set at all, was set in 2002.
Wasn't Ronald Wastewater Bob Ransom disciplined for an ethics violation just mere weeks ago by WasWood regarding executive sessions? The Ronald Wastewater Board disciplined Ransom last year for the same thing. Ransom is the same guy who violated the open public meetings act back in 2005 and cost the taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.
If the current Ronald Board or Shoreline City Council asserts the Ronald Board is compelled to approve the assumption, then they are in conflict with former Attorney General Rob McKenna's 2012 AGO No. 4 - Power Of County Legislative Authority To Enter Into Contract That Binds The County Legislative Authority In The Future.
