George Bullock Trio featuring Philip Lomax
On Friday night the George Bullock Trio, with Paul Miranda on Drums and Marina Christopher on Bass, will be backing up an amazing young man, Philip Lomax. This guy has a Very powerful voice, and will be performing his own versions of a Lot of standards in the style of Mr Sinatra. He came into one of our Jazz Jams a couple months ago, and blew the room away!

Paul is one of the most accomplished fiddlers in the US and last time they played to a packed house, and Paul, along with Elena and Juan kept the room enguaged, laughing and Loving the incredible music that Paul spent years traveling to the outback of Mexico learning and documenting (Over 700 songs, too!).

There is often music at the Saturday Farmer's Market - some scheduled, some spontaneous. Last Saturday there was a ukelele band!
Sunday, August 31 - 10am - 3pm
Dance and music on Sunday as the Scottish Country Dancers visit the market.
The Seattle Branch will be dancing at the Lake Forest Park Farmers Market from Noon to 1:00pm amongst the flowers and veggies. Easy dances for all and an opportunity to encourage new persons to dance at LFP this fall. Plan on street shoes and perhaps sun screen!
