On Thursday August 14th, the Ridgecrest Neighborhood Association held its 16th Annual Ridgecrest Ice Cream Social from 6:00pm to dark at Paramount School Park at 152nd and 8th NE.
The annual event attracts several thousand neighbors, some drawn in by the sound of music in the local park. Or in this case, the sound of a helicopter landing.
