Traffic Alert: Standing water on I-5 at bus barn

According to our news partner King 5, a drainage problem is leaving standing water on both directions of I-5 at the bus barn (about NE 175th) during the Wednesday morning commute. WSDOT maintenance crews are on the job but drivers need to exercise extreme caution.

King 5 actually had photos of cars plowing through the water and creating wakes. Even in the WSDOT traffic camera photo above, you can see the amount of water on the road (and on the camera lens), especially as compared to the shot at 145th just four minutes later.
