The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council is looking for local artists to display their handmade small works and gift items at The Gallery at Town Center in Lake Forest Park. They carry a variety of items and mediums – jewelry, sculpture, cards, miniatures, pottery, glass, metal, wood, scarves, purses, etc.
Artists are invited to submit the following via email
- Resume including where you’ve shown your work
- Artist statement with website address, if applicable
- 5-10 digital images that reflect your work with an image list that includes medium and retail price
If your items are accepted into the store, all work must be able to be hand-delivered and you agree to rotate items seasonally, every 3-4 months.
Applications are taken on an ongoing, year-round basis. To apply to be in the galley for the 2014 holiday season however, there is a deadline of September 5, 2014. They are looking for unique, small gift items - jewelry, glass, ceramics, wood, metal, fiber and wearables.
The Gallery at Town Center features a not-for-profit gift shop that has artist-made small works and jewelry. The gallery also has two person exhibits on the walls that rotate every six weeks. Applying to be on the wall is a different process. See the website for more information.
All work in the gallery must be original and for sale. Commission on sold work is 50% with a maximum commission of $80. The Gallery is located inside, on the lower level of the Lake Forest Park Town Center at 17171 Bothell Way NE. You are encouraged to stop by and view the space.
Application Deadline: Ongoing, applications are accepted year-round.
