The King County 32nd Legislative District Republicans have endorsed Robert Reedy for state senate and Alvin Rutledge for one of the district’s seats in the state house of representatives.
Reedy and Democrat Chris Eggen are challenging incumbent Democratic 32nd District State Sen. Maralyn Chase in the Aug. 5 primary, with the top two vote getters qualifying for the November general-election ballot, regardless of party.
Rutledge will meet incumbent Democratic 32nd District State Rep. Ruth Kagi in the primary, with both certain to qualify for the November ballot.
The King County 32nd District Republicans – in Shoreline and northwest Seattle – make endorsements separately from Snohomish County 32nd District Republicans – in Lynnwood, Woodway and nearby unincorporated areas of southwest Snohomish County, and parts off Edmonds and Mountlake Terrace.
