The Shoreline Chamber of Commerce is looking for an individual to staff our office in Shoreline.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (Includes but not limited to)
- Staff Chamber office during approved business hours and conduct day to day business operations of the Chamber
- Recruit potential members for the Chamber and retain existing members
- Provide administrative support to the Chamber Board of Directors
- Coordinate and attend events as required
- Promote the Chamber is a positive manner to our members, other businesses and government agencies
- Implement policies and procedures as delegated by the Board of Directors
- Provide all necessary financial reports
- Oversee development, implementation and maintenance of the Chamber website
- Help coordinate and develop Chamber printed materials
- Assist in all fundraising and community activities of the Chamber
- 2 to 5 years office administration experience
- High School diploma or higher
- Competent computer skills
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is helpful
- Excellent communication skills
- Event planning and coordination is helpful
- Effective decision-making skills
- Self directed; works under limited supervision
- Positive, outgoing attitude
- Experience with outside sales or recruitment is helpful
